Hey, I'm Ismar. I'm an engineer based near Zurich, currently working at PostFinance where I manage GitOps-powered Kubernetes infrastructure serving millions of customers. With over 13 years in IT, I've worn a lot of hats—DevOps, full-stack/web/Apple platforms development and various forms of scripting, infrastructure automation, system architecture—picking up new tools and perspectives along the way.

My path has taken me through companies like Accenture and ELCA Cloud Services, a full-stack bootcamp at Propulsion Academy, and countless late nights tinkering with code and exploring new technologies. These days, I'm diving deep into Python and machine learning, with a growing fascination for AI alignment research and "agentic engineering" or AI-assisted software development.

When I'm not improving an existing project, considering my next project, fixing bugs, wrangling Kubernetes clusters, or chasing down config drift, you'll probably find me gaming on my PS5 Pro, helping users in Windsurf's Discord channel, or exploring whatever rabbit hole the internet has led me down this week.
